Hi-Line Athletes of the Week

Isaac Pedraza, Havre High Boys Basketball

The Havre High boys basketball team got perhaps its biggest win of the season last Saturday when the Blue Ponies roared back to beat Hardin. And a big reason why was the play of junior Isaac Pedraza. The Blue Pony standout scored a career-high and Havre season-high 30 points against the Bulldogs as Havre erased a double-digit deficit for the win. Pedraza is a third-year varsity standout for the Blue Ponies, who is averaging more than 13 points and six rebounds per game.

Kyla Momberg, Box Elder Girls Basketball

The District 9C Tournament is right around the corner and Box Elder's Kyla Momberg is heating up at just the right time. Momberg averaged 15 points and seven rebounds per game in three Box Elder wins last week. Momberg, who is headed to play for Montana Western next fall, is in her fourth year of varsity basketball and is a two-time All-State performer for the Bears, who are now in first place in the District 9C standings. Momberg also played volleyball for the Bears.
