State and local COVID-19 update

The Montana state COVID tracking map after this morning’s update listed 1,173 new cases, 4,587 active cases, 266 hospitalizations and 3,072 deaths. The cumulative total for the state was 257,852 cases.

Hill County Health Department said in its update Friday that 18 new cases were reported and 31 met the criteria to be considered recovered with 149 active cases in the county, 1 active hospitalization, 4,660 total cases and the county has had 71 deaths.

Blaine County Health Department said in its update Friday that it was notified of 11 new cases and 11 met the criteria to be considered recovered with 101 active cases in the county, 1 new hospitalization, 5 active hospitalizations, 2,220 total cases and the county has had 30 deaths.

Rocky Boy Health Center, also reported on the Chouteau or Hill county reports, reported Friday 11 new cases and 20 met the criteria to be considered recovered with 109 active, no active hospitalizations and 1,531cases. The reservation has reported 10 deaths.

Current data from Fort Belknap Indian Community, also listed in the Blaine or Phillips county numbers, was not available by deadline this morning.

Liberty County, reported on the state update this morning, had 1 new case, 6 active, 377 total cases, 2 deaths.

Chouteau County, reported on the state update this morning, had 3 new cases, 11 active, 940 total cases, 14 deaths.
