Havre Police Department

Avery Jordan Boe of Hays, 37, was arrested on charges of partner or family member assault, criminal mischief vandalism and obstructing a peace officer or other public servant after a caller on Ninth Avenue reported a domestic disturbance Wednesday at 9:56 a.m.

Two arrests were made after a woman with outstanding warrants was reported on Sixth Street Wednesday at 3:25 p.m. Details on charges were not provided in the dispatch log, but the log did name as an involved party Marcella Noland, who was listed on the jail roster this morning as being held on charges of obstructing a justice of peace and possession of dangerous drugs.

Hill County Sheriff's Office

Deputies were asked at 12:48 p.m. Wednesday to assist firefighters on 31st Avenue West.

Havre Fire Department

Emergency medical technicians responded to two calls Wednesday.

Firefighters were called at 12:37 p.m. Wednesday to the 1300 Block of 31st Avenue West where a dog bed had caught fire in a house. The fire was put out without damage to the structure.

Havre Animal Shelter

The shelter this morning held two cats and two kittens of unknown gender, a female 6-month-old kitten, five male cats, three female cats and a male 23-week-old kitten.

The shelter also held two male mixed-breed dogs, a female 11-month-old mixed-breed puppy, a female 6-month-old mixed-breed puppy, a female 10-week-old mixed-breed puppy, a female pit bull-border collie cross, a female 21-week-old puppy and a female 21-week-old shar pei puppy. Also held separately were a male 18-week-old mixed-breed puppy and a female 14-week-old mixed-breed puppy.
