Havre Police Department

A caller with a First Street organization asked Tuesday at 9:09 a.m. to speak with an officer about a complaint.

An attempted break-in was reported Tuesday at 2:34 p.m. on Seventh Street.

Tayla Wren Overlie of Havre, 33, was arrested on three Justice or City court warrants after an officer made a walk-through check at a First Street business Tuesday at 6:23 p.m.

Gina Kirkpatrick Schmitte of Rudyard, 51, was arrested on a disorderly conduct charge after a caller on Second Street reported a woman screaming at people and vehicles at 10:20 p.m. Tuesday.

Jesse Lee Eller of Havre, 38, was issued a summons on charges of careless driving, failure to drive careful and prudent, and hit and run after a caller at 12th Avenue and Second Street and GM Onstar reported a vehicle crash Tuesday at 10:42 p.m.

Hill County Sheriff's Office

A drug offense was reported in booking at Hill County Detention Center Tuesday at 6:45 p.m.

Havre Fire Department

Emergency medical technicians responded to two calls Tuesday, with one call accompanying firefighters on a report of a fire, which turned out to be a false alarm, on the 1200 Block of First Avenue at 9:10 a.m. What looked like smoke was car exhaust.

Havre Animal Shelter

The shelter this morning held two cats and two kittens of unknown gender, a female 6-month-old kitten, five male cats, three female cats and a male 24-week-old kitten.

The shelter also held a male mixed-breed dog, a male 8-month-old Labrador retriever puppy, a female German shepherd dog, a male 21-week-old Labrador retriever puppy, a female 6-month-old mixed-breed puppy, a female pit bull terrier, an 8-month-old corgi puppy, a female pit bull-border collie cross, a female 21-week-old shar pei puppy and a male Labrador retriever.
