Havre Police Department

An 11th Street caller reported Friday at 8:45 a.m. that he keeps receiving packages and is wondering if it's part of a scam.

Officers investigated a cross report from Child Protective Services Friday at 9:35 a.m.

--

Officers assisted at a medical call on 15th Avenue Friday at 11:29 a.m.

--

A dead deer was reported Friday at 3:29 p.m. in a yard on Assiniboine Avenue.

--

Chad Allen Wagner of Havre, 26, was arrested on a state District Court warrant and a Justice or City court warrant served on First Street Friday at 5:40 p.m.

--

Officers were asked Friday at 6:05 p.m. to assist on 15th Avenue with a parenting plan issue.

--

A vehicle hit and run was reported at 2:04 a.m. Saturday on Second Street.

--

A Cleveland Avenue caller reported Saturday at 9:02 a.m. that a delivery truck hit a vehicle the previous day, but officers determined that there was not enough damage to warrant a crash report.

Randy David Faldalen of Havre, 39, was arrested on charges of driving under the influence and careless driving and on a Justice or City court warrant during a vehicle stop on Sixth Avenue Saturday at 11:13 p.m.

Armando Arellano III of Havre, 18, was arrested on charges of partner or family member assault and minor in possession after officers, Hill County Sheriff's deputies and an ambulance responded to a report of an injured and bleeding man on Second Street at 2:50 a.m. Police Captain Aaron Wittmer said Arellano and a family member had been drinking and mock fighting, and the family member was significantly cut on the shin by a machete that Arellano was holding. The injured person lost a lot of blood, but the wound was non-life-threatening and the injury appeared to be unintended, Wittmer said.

Joshua Steven Kirkaldie of Havre, 33, was arrested on a criminal contempt charge after a caller on Sixth Street reported that a man had been drinking Sunday at 7:52 a.m.

A hit and run car crash was reported on Third Avenue Sunday at 7:37 p.m.

--

A car theft was reported by a First Street Northeast caller at 10:33 p.m. Monday.

--

A 15-year-old Havre boy, a 16-year-old Havre boy and a 17-year-old Zurich girl were each issued a summons on a charge of juvenile curfew violation after a Fifth Street caller reported at 1:44 a.m. today that their minor son was missing and officers investigated a vehicle on Fourth Street at 2:49 a.m.

Hill County Sheriff's Office

An abandoned vehicle was reported by several callers on U.S. Highway 87 Saturday at 6:51 a.m.

Brandon Wallace Beck of Havre, 27, was arrested on three Justice or City court warrants after deputies investigated suspicious activity on Boulevard Avenue Saturday at 11:55 p.m.

--

Deputies were asked Sunday at 3:19 p.m. to provide assistance at the hospital.

Havre Fire Department

Emergency medical technicians responded to four calls Friday, three calls Saturday, three calls Sunday and one call early this morning.

Firefighters put out a garbage bin fire reported on the 1900 Block of U.S. Highway 2 East at 3:53 p.m. Friday.

--

Firefighters reset an unintentionally activated fire alarm on the 1300 Block of Jefferson Avenue at 7:56 a.m. Saturday.

Havre Animal Shelter

The shelter this morning held two 10-month-old kittens of unknown gender, three male cats and three female cats.

The shelter also held a male 8-month-old mixed breed puppy, a female border collie dog, a female 21-week-old Labrador retriever-border collie cross dog, a female Chihuahua-corgi cross dog, a female mixed-breed 9-month-old puppy, a male 9-week-old mixed-breed puppy, a female 9-month-old St. Bernard puppy, a male 10-month-old corgi puppy, a female 6-month-old shar pei puppy and a female mixed-breed dog. A male 9-month-old mixed-breed puppy was also being held in foster care.
