Havre Police Department

A Wilson Avenue caller reported Monday at 7:23 a.m. that someone ran over the mailbox.

Mike Allen Dunning of Havre, 39, was issued a summons on charges of failing to carry proof of vehicle insurance and driving with a suspended or revoked driver's license after a motor vehicle stop on 12th Street at 7:54 a.m. Monday.

Items were reported stolen from the back of an unlocked vehicle on 10th Street West Monday at 9:30 a.m.

--

Vandalism to a picnic table was reported on 10th Street West at 10:11 a.m. Monday.

--

A 16-year-old boy was issued a summons on charges of underage tobacco possession or consumption reported at Havre High School Monday at 10:25 a.m.

--

A scam was reported by a Ninth Avenue caller Monday at 1:28 p.m.

--

An elk shed was reported Monday at 3:50 p.m. stolen from 10th Street West.

--

A written or verbal warning was given to youths on Smithville Road after an 8:05 p.m. report that they were batting rocks that were hitting the caller's house.

--

An arrest was made Monday at 11:38 p.m. at 10th Avenue and First Street in connection with a 10:36 p.m. complaint that a woman needed to removed from a First Street West business. No charges were listed in the dispatch log, but Meagan Lashae Ball, named as an involved party, was listed in this morning's jail roster as being held on charges of violation of a no contact order and failure to appear.

Hill County Sheriff's Office

Deputies investigated suspicious activity reported on Bullhook Road Southeast Monday at 1:21 p.m.

Jennifer Jean Longknife of Great Falls, 31, was arrested on five Justice or City court warrants served at the tri-county dump after a 911 call at 12:17 a.m. today.

Havre Fire Department

Emergency medical technicians responded to four calls Monday and two calls early this morning.

Firefighters had a Monday 2:29 p.m. response to a fire alarm on the 10 Block of 13th Street West canceled en route.

Havre Animal Shelter

The shelter this morning held two 1-week-old kittens and cat all of unknown gender, three female cats, three male cats and a male 11-month-old kitten. Also, one male 7-week-old kitten was being fostered.

The shelter also held a male 9-month-old mixed-breed puppy, a female border collie dog, a female Chihuahua-corgi cross dog, a female mixed-breed 10-month-old puppy, a male 11-week-old mixed-breed puppy, a female mixed-breed dog, a male 9-month-old mixed-breed puppy, a female 9-week-old mixed-breed puppy, a male 6-month-old mixed-breed puppy, a female Rottweiler dog and a female 7-month-old Rottweiler puppy. Also, a male mixed-breed dog and a female 23-week-old Labrador retriever-border collie cross puppy were being held in foster care.
