Havre Police Department

A Wednesday 11:54 a.m. report of a dead deer along Park Road was referred to Havre Public Works.

Raymond William Campbell of Havre, 26, was arrested on three Justice or City court warrants served on Second Street Wednesday at 2:32 p.m.

Tristan McCoy Bernard of Box Elder, 24, was arrested on a charge of partner or family member assault after a Ninth Street caller asked Wednesday at 7:07 p.m. for assistance removing a man from the premises.

Davis Leon Denny of Box Elder, 21, was arrested on two Justice or City court warrants and a charge of shoplifting after a theft of beer was reported at a First Street business at 1:11 a.m. today.

A caller at a First Street business reported Thursday at 2:27 p.m. that the driver of a white SUV had left without paying for gas.

A sex offense was reported in Havre Thursday at 2:59 p.m.

A Thursday 6:21 p.m. caller on McKinley Avenue reported property was stolen.

Edwin Vernel Franklin of Havre, 61, was arrested on a charge of probation violation after a caller at a First Street business reported a man was trying to get into the building through the back Thursday at 7:43 p.m.

A caller at the hospital reported a dog bite Thursday at 10:47 p.m.

Hill County Sheriff's Office

A summons was issued after a caller at a U.S. Highway 2 West business reported a theft, forgery or fraud Wednesday at 10:37 a.m. No details on charges were provided.

Deputies investigated a Wednesday 3:38 p.m. complaint from Seventh Avenue North.

Deputies investigated a Wednesday 6:43 p.m. complaint from Second Street Northeast in Rudyard.

Deputies investigated a Wednesday 7:17 p.m. complaint from 11th Street West.

A 13-year-old was issued a summons on a charge of underage tobacco possession or consumption reported from Box Elder School Thursday at 11:43 a.m.

A caller at 12:05 a.m. today asked for assistance at a Box Elder establishment.

Montana Highway Patrol

Troopers responded to a vehicle rollover reported Wednesday at 6:50 p.m. on U.S. Highway 87 north of Laredo near mile marker 102.

Havre Fire Department

Emergency medical technicians responded to five calls Wednesday and one call Thursday. The 9:27 a.m. Wednesday call was accompanying firefighters to a report of a gas leak on the 1900 Block of Second Street. The scene was turned over to NorthWestern Energy.

Firefighters responding to a fire alarm Thursday at 10:48 p.m. on the 800 Block of Fourth Street only had to reset the alarm.

Havre Animal Shelter

The shelter this morning held three 2-week-old and three 5-week-old kittens of all of unknown gender, four female cats, two male cats and a male 11-month-old kitten. Also, one male 8-week-old kitten was being fostered.

The shelter also held a male 9-month-old mixed-breed puppy, a female border collie dog, three male 6-month-old mixed-breed puppies, a male dachshund, a male mixed-breed dog, a female mixed-breed dog, a female Rottweiler dog and a male 11-week-old mixed-breed dog. Also, a female 21-week-old mixed-breed puppy and a female 22-week-old mixed-breed puppy were being held in foster care. The shelter was also holding separately two male and four female 6-month-old mixed-breed puppies.

A girl was born Tuesday, May 3, 2022, to Michaila and Matt Cline of Havre.

A girl was born Thursday, May 5, 2022, to Jerilyn and Justin Johnson of Havre.
