As a part of the Arbor Day 2022 celebration, the Havre government and its TURF Committiee planted a burr oak tree in commemoration of Pam Wilson, lifelong resident of the community, for her lifelong service to Havre.
Wilson was a physical education instructor and taught at all three elementary schools when they were grade K-5 neighborhood schools before becoming grade-level schools in 2001. She also coached the Havre High School swim team for a year and in later years was employed by Montana State University-Northern as a physical education adjunct for several years.
