The best female athletes on the Hi-Line gathered at the Havre Middle School Track Wednesday for the District 9C girls track meet. With a spot in the Northern C Divisionals on the line, every 9C track and field team was looking to put its best foot forward in the meet. At the end of the day, it was the Big Sandy girls team that took home its first District 9C title since 2006.

"I still have a lot to work on," Wagoner said. "I can do better and that's what I'm going to be really working on for next week."

The Northern C Divisionals will begin in Great Falls on May 19.
