Big Sandy Pioneers District 9C for first time in 16 years

The best female athletes on the Hi-Line gathered at the Havre Middle School Track Wednesday for the District 9C girls track meet. With a spot in the Northern C Divisionals on the line, every 9C track and field team was looking to put its best foot forward in the meet. At the end of the day, it was the Big Sandy girls team that took home its first District 9C title since 2006.

"They did fabulous today," Big Sandy head coach Wendy Taylor said. "They have worked hard all year and it showed today."
