Blue Ponies set for Northeast A Divisionals

Havre's Avery Carlson pitches against Sidney at Sixth Avenue Memorial Field earlier this month. After going undefeated in the Northeast A this season, the Blue Ponies will be the No. 1 seed in the divisional tournament at Miles City this Tuesday and Wednesday.
All the hard work leads to this moment as the postseason finally arrives for the Havre High softball team. Starting this Tuesday, the Blue Ponies will compete in the Northeast A Divisionals in Miles City. As the tournament's No. 1 seed, HHS head coach Tony Vigliotti expects the Ponies to continue playing well and accomplish their goal this week.
"We're playing well. Our pitching has been good, we've been consistent at the plate and we've been doing a lot of the little things better defensively," Vigliotti said. "I think we're ready to go and I think we expect to go down there and win."
