Havre Police Department

A Second Street caller reported hearing neighbors yelling and screaming and someone mentioning a gun Wednesday at 7:17 a.m.

Officers investigated a complaint made Wednesday at 10:26 a.m. on First Street Northeast and involving someone being taken to the hospital emergency room.

A Wednesday 12:54 p.m. complaint about a herd of deer coming into the caller's yard and eating the plants was referred to another law enforcement agency.

--

An arrest was made on Second Street after a Wednesday 6:18 p.m. caller reported a man walking around knocking on doors and looking in vehicles and a 6:29 p.m. caller reported a man passed out on a deck. No details on charges were listed in the dispatch log, but Acoya Nathan Gopher was named as an involved party and he was listed in the jail roster this morning as being held on a charge of trespass and on eight warrants for failure to appear in court.

A 16-year-old and a 15-year-old were each issued a summons on a charge of trespass to property after a caller on Fourth Street reported a boy and a girl trespassing Wednesday at 6:38 p.m.

A green Subaru was reported hit Wednesday at 9:23 p.m. on Fifth Avenue.

Matthew Michael Converse of Havre, 43, was arrested on two Justice or City court warrants at Hill County Detention Center at 10:45 p.m. Wednesday.

A vehicle theft was reported on 10th Street West at 11:43 p.m. Wednesday.

--

An arrest was made after a caller at 6 a.m. today asked to speak with officers about a disagreement with an ex, but no details on charges were provided.

Hill County Sheriff's Office

A theft, forgery or fraud was reported at a U.S. Highway 2 West business Wednesday at 4:36 p.m.

Raymond Windyboy of Box Elder, 60, was arrested on a disorderly conduct charge after a caller asked for assistance Wednesday at 10:03 p.m. at a Box Elder establishment.

Havre Fire Department

Emergency medical technicians responded to one call Wednesday.

Firefighters responded Wednesday at 2:30 p.m. to Second Street where the caller reported smoke from a neighbor's fire was drifting into the caller's windows. The fire was burning debris and no permit had been obtained so the fire was extinguished.

Havre Animal Shelter

The shelter this morning held two 10-week-old kittens, three 5-week-old kittens, three 8-week-old kittens, one 9-week-old kitten and two cats all of unknown gender, three female cats and four male cats. Another four 6-week-old kittens were being cared for in a foster home.

The shelter also held a male mixed-breed dog, three male and one female 6-month-old mixed-breed puppies, a male 7-month-old mixed-breed puppy, a female Rottweiler dog and a female mixed-breed dog. And being fostered are two 9-month-old dachshund puppies and a male mixed-breed dog.
