Members of the Legion Riders and the Veterans Honor Guard stand on the Hill County Courthouse lawn before Memorial Day ceremonies. The ceremonies included the singing of the national anthem, Scout BSA troops, Cub Scouts and Girl Scouts performing the flag ceremony, a reading of the names of veterans who have died in the last year, the playing of taps and the Honor Guard performing a three-volley salute and the laying of wreaths at the memorial at the courthouse.
