Havre Police Department

Andrew Mason Ridgell of Havre, 29, was arrested on two Justice or City court warrants served Thursday at 11:18 a.m. on Fourth Street.

Two people were arrested after a caller on Ninth Avenue reported trespassers at 11:25 a.m. Thursday. No details on charges were available in the dispatch log, but Adam Swan, one of the people names as involved in the incident was being held in Hill County Detention Center Friday on a charge of partner or family member assault and two warrants for contempt of court.

Officers investigated a Thursday 3:51 p.m. report of a sexual or violent offender registry violation.

A caller on First Street Northeast reported Thursday at 7:42 p.m. that a man and woman were fighting.

A phone was reported stolen Thursday at 7:48 p.m. on Second Street Northeast.

Hill County Sheriff's Office

Detention center booking personnel reported a drug offense Thursday at 12:23 p.m.

Deputies and Montana Highway Patrol troopers responded to a vehicle crash near mile marker 385 on U.S. Highway 2 East reported Friday at 12:18 a.m. The vehicle, which hit a deer, was described in the dispatch log as totaled, but the MHP incident website listed the crash as non-injury.

Havre Fire Department

Emergency medical technicians responded to three calls Thursday and one early Friday.

Havre Animal Shelter

The shelter Sunday morning held two 13-week-old kittens, three 7-week-old kittens, five 10-week-old kitten, two cats and an 11-week-old kitten all of unknown gender, two female cats and two male cats. Another four 8-week-old kittens were being cared for in a foster home.

The shelter also held a female 8-month-old border collie puppy, four male and one female 7-month-old mixed-breed puppies and a female mixed-breed dog. And a male 5-week-old mixed-breed puppy, a female 11-week-old mixed-breed puppy and a male mixed-breed dog were listed in foster care.
