Local Golf Report: Another busy tourney week ahead

For the second straight Saturday, a big tournament took place at Prairie Farms Golf Course. Last Saturday saw the course host the MSU-Northern Football Scramble.

A full field of four-person teams played in the 18-hole event, which was won by Erickson Insurance. The team was composed of Mike Erickson, Jim Kirkpatrick, Justine Beaudry and Kyle Miller. Congrats to the team, and to everyone who played, in what was the first official Lights Football Tournament.

The tourney slate continues this weekend with the Natalie Patrick Foundation Scramble at Prairie Farms, while it’s also a big weeken...
