New mural going up on Havre Elks Lodge

A new piece of art is being put up to adorn the front of the Havre Elks Lodge $1201 at 321 Second Street.

Havre High School art student Angelina Siebenaller and her art teacher, Havre High School teacher Lindsey Ratliff, are woking to paint Siebenaller's mural on the front of the lodge.

Siebenaller won a contest held by the Elks among local high school art students in the region, submitting the winning proposed mural to be painted on the front of th lodge.

The Elks donated $500 to the Havre High Art Club and an Elks Lodge member is donating the material to paint the mural.

The finished mural will include a scene of the mountains, a lake, trees and an American flag.

This mural will accompany another on the north side of lodge visible to people driving along First Street in Havre that was commissioned by the Arts and Beautification Committee of Downtown Havre Matters! and the Hi-Line Arts Council.
