Havre Police Department

A caller in the Third Street alley reported Monday at 9:20 a.m. that an unlocked vehicle was gone through, but nothing was taken.

An officer was flagged down Monday at 11:09 a.m. to investigate a vehicle crash on First Street.

——

A caller on First Street reported Monday at 12:59 p.m. that her car had been hit in an intersection.

——

A First Street West caller reported at 1:22 p.m. Monday that someone just tried to steal a truck and they had it on video.

Mildus Wilson of Havre, 20, was issued a summons on an assault charge after a caller at Rocky Boy Health reported an assault Monday at 2:04 p.m.

Hill County Sheriff’s Office

Deputies were asked Monday at 2:51 p.m. for assistance by a caller on County Road 462 West.

A caller reported a cat stuck in a barbed wire fence Monday at 2:58 p.m. on Ninth Street East.

Havre Fire Department

Emergency medical technicians responded to one call Monday, and firefighters responded to two calls: a public assist call on the 3000 Block of Ninth Street East at 4:01 p.m. and a fire alarm reset on the 1300 Block of Jefferson Avenue at 8:27 p.m.

Havre Animal Shelter

The shelter Monday morning held three 5-week-old kittens, five 9-week-old kittens, three 7-week-old kittens and three 3-week-old kittens all of unknown gender, one female 13-week-old kitten, six female cats, four male cats, a male 7-month-old kitten and a female 16-week-old kitten.

The shelter also held two male mixed breed dogs, three male 8-month-old mixed-breed puppies and a male pit bull-border collie cross. Also, a female 8-month-old mixed-breed puppy and a male mixed-breed dog were listed in foster care.

Births

A boy was born Saturday, July 16, 2022, to Shauntae and John Sunchild of Rocky Boy.
