Block Party, 3:30 p.m., Havre-Hill County Library, with a time for building and playing board games. This is free and open to the public.

Friday, Aug. 12

Blaine County Fair, food booths open 11 a.m. and carnival opens noon, Blaine County Fairgrounds, Chinook.

PRCA Bear Paw Roundup, 7 p.m., Blaine County Fairgrounds, Chinook, with music by Stolen Roan.

Harlem Public Schools junior high and high school fall sports practices start. Student athletes need sports physicals prior to starting practice.

Fifth Annual Veterans and First Responders Family Barbecue, noon - 3 p.m. Pepin Park. All veterans, first responders, border patrol and their families are invited to enjoy a barbecue, musc and games for the kids.

Havre Trap Club Moonlight Shoot, registration 7 p.m, start 8 p.m., Trap Club, turn off is just beyond the south end of 5th Avenue. Havre Trails Summer Brewfest, 2 - 7 p.m., Pepin Park, with dozens of Montana brewed beers, food trucks, live music and more.

Harlem Community Yard Sale, 8 a.m. set-up, 9 a.m. - 2 p.m. sale, Harlem City Park. People with yard sale items and vendors can bring tables or rent them.
