Obituary - DeeAnn Brese

DeeAnn Brese, 77, passed away Tuesday morning, August 9, 2022, at the Great Falls Clinic Hospital.

Cremation has taken place and her memorial service will be 1 p.m. Saturday, August 13, 2022, at Holland & Bonine Funeral Chapel with Ila McClenahan officiating. Her burial will be held at a later date.

Memorial contributions in DeeAnn’s honor may be made to a charity of one’s choice.

DeeAnn was born May 10, 1945, in Havre, Montana to Paul and Alice (Miller) Bulman. She was raised and educated in Havre. She married Ken Kampf, and they had two children, John and Michele. The couple later divorced. DeeAnn worked at the Montana Bar, The Golden Spike, and the Duck Inn as a bartender for over 30 years before retiring. DeeAnn married Jack Brese and they later divorced.

DeeAnn was an independent, outgoing person who was a hard worker and protective of her family. She enjoyed traveling with her sister Carolyn Webber, but mostly enjoyed her time at home. She enjoyed playing solitaire and spending time with her granddaughter Allison.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her brother, Richard “Dick” Bulman; and son John Kampf.

DeeAnn is survived by her children Jeff Kampf of Mesa, Arizona, and Michele (Luke) Weiss of Fairview, Montana; four grandchildren, Tara Frenzel, Zack Kampf, and Chaz and Allison Weiss; three great-grandchildren, Jasmine “JJ”, Joshua and Jacob; her sisters, Carolyn Webber of Great Falls, MT, Marilyn Cline of Kentucky; and Ann Bulman of Havre; and numerous nieces, nephews and friends.
