Havre Police Department

A 10th Street West caller reported Wednesday at 11:27 a.m. that some tires had been slashed a week prior.

A caller at a First Street business reported at 11:38 a.m. Wednesday that a theft had occurred during the night.

A 13-year-old Havre boy was issued a summons on a shoplifting charge after a caller at a First Street business reported having a shoplifter in custody Wednesday at 12:27 p.m.

John Allden Horseman of Fort Belknap, 51, was arrested on a trespass to property charge after a man, who was told to leave several times, was reported sleeping in a smoke shack at a First Street West establishment Wednesday at 3:34 p.m.

A hit and run crash was reported on 10th Street at 1:39 a.m. today.

Hill County Sheriff's Office

Deputies responded to a 7:46 p.m. Wednesday report of a single vehicle rollover crash on the 300 Block of 24h Avenue East. Undersheriff Stan Martin said the sheriff's office incident report says the vehicle was on resting on its top and two of the five occupants sustained minor injuries. Havre Fire was called to the scene and Montana Highway Patrol investigated the crash, but no one was available from either department to provide further details.

Emergency medical technicians responded to five calls Wednesday, and a fire engine responded, as well, to a vehicle crash on the 300 Block of 24th Avenue East at 7:47 p.m.

Havre Animal Shelter

The shelter Wednesday morning held seven 10-week-old kittens, three 8-week-old kittens and one 6-week-old kitten all of unknown gender, six female cats, a male 16-week-old kitten, four male cats, two male and one female 12-week-old kittens and a female 20-week-old kitten.

The shelter also held two male mixed breed dogs, a female 23-week-old Labrador retriever, a male Labrador retriever, three male and a female 9-month-old mixed-breed puppies, a female mixed-breed dog and a male pit bull-border collie cross, plus a male mixed-breed dog was being fostered.
