Police arrest 17-year-old on attempted murder charge

Havre police said in a press release late Monday morning that a 17-year-old boy was arrested Friday night on suspicion of charges including attempted murder after police were told that someone in a vehicle Thursday had fired multiple gunshots at another vehicle.

The juvenile is being detained in Cascade County Juvenile Detention Center pending formal charges being filed by the Hill County Attorney’s Office.

Hill County Attorney Lacey Lincoln said this morning she is reviewing the case and expects to make a decision on filing charges by Friday.
