Festival of Quilts still open to submissions until Sept. 10

The Festival of Quilts, a show and contest hosted by the Hi-Line Quilt Guild at Festival Days each year, is still accepting submissions to the event until Sept. 10.

The festival allows local quiltmakers, guild members or not, to show off their work to be judged by the guild and attendees.

Karen Pollington, one of the event’s primary organizers said, people can drop off their quilts for the show at Bearly Square Quilting from now until Sept. 9 and the final day to register a submission is the next day at the old Famous Footware location at the Holiday Village Mall.
