Hill County Commission passes coming year's budget

After a lengthy budget process, the Hill County Commission unanimously passed the coming fiscal year’s county budget and appropriations in their weekly business meeting Thursday.

Hill County Commissioner Diane McLean said all county department heads have submitted their budgets according to procedure and all necessary public meetings on the budgets have been held.

At the meeting the commission also voted to set the budgets for the county’s rural special improvement districts, and set salaries for all current office holders for the coming fiscal year in unanimous votes.
