Sugarbeet Festival, all day, Chinook, with vendors and bounce houses, tractor and antique show, Wildlife Museum viewing and Blaine County Museum traveling tepee exhibit, plus more:

Bear Paw Ironman Shoot, practice/sign-up 10 a.m., shoot 11 a.m., Havre Trap Club, east off highway, just past south end of 5th Avenue, with two classes of Ironman and several games. All trap shooters are welcome to attend.

Senior Appreciation Day, 11 a.m. - 4 p.m., St. Jude Parish Center, 440 7th Ave., with a free barbecue lunch, vendors, music, a silent auction, raffle, bake sale, Alzheimer’s and veterans information, a craft and activity table, health care booth, game table, nail painting booth and more. This event is open to everyone.

Bawdy Autonomy Comedy Night, 7 p.m., MSU-Northern's Little Theatre, with drinks, music and comedy, featuring comedian Sarah Aswell, to support the Hi-line Women's Coalition. Tickets are $15.

Hi-Line Curling Club workday, 10 a.m., Havre Ice Dome. Anyone interested in or signing up for curling can help the club put in curling houses.

Tuesday, Oct. 4

St. Jude’s PCCW meeting,

7 p.m., St. Jude’s Parish Center. Harvest Dinner and Christmas bazaar will be discussed. For info call Dolores Noffsinger, 406-265-6055.

Wednesday, Oct. 5

Books and Babies, 10:15 a.m., Havre-Hill County Library. Children aged 0-5 and caregivers are encouraged to attend but all are welcome. This program is free and open to the public.

Storytime, 10:30 a.m. and 3:30 p.m., Havre-Hill County Library, with a craft to follow. This program is free and open to the public.

Big Sandy Medical Guild - Annual Rummage Sale, 8 a.m. - 7 p.m., Jerry Martin Memorial Hall,115 Johannes Ave., with many household, entertainment, fabric and crafts, clothing and holiday items along with homemade pie and coffee and a raffle. 9th Annual Run/Walk to End Domestic Violence in Our Community, for HRDC's Victim Services program, registration 9:30 a.m., walk 10 a.m., 5th Ave. and 1st St. parking lot, ending at Havre High. Everyone is invited to this pet and stroller friendly event. Run/walk is free, but non-perishable food, toiletries and clothing donations accepted for the domestic violence shelter.
