Man arrested on assault with a weapon charge

Christian Lee Morsette is being held at Hill County Detention Center without bond pending possible felony charges after being arrested on charges of assault with a weapon and no vehicle insurance charges early Monday morning.

Havre Police Sgt. Ryan Pearson said a caller reported at 3:05 a.m. Monday that Morsette entered the victim’s residence on the 500 Block of Second Street and held a gun to his face over a claim that the victim had stolen from Morsette.
