A package theft was reported Friday at 11:32 a.m. on First Street.

A caller reported Friday at 8:07 p.m. a vehicle crashed into three other vehicles on Fifth Street. No one was available to provide details due to the holiday.

A vehicle crash was reported on Fifth Street at 8:33 p.m.

A 17-year-old was issued a summons on a charge of minor in possession after a caller on Lincoln Avenue reported Friday at 11:25 p.m. that a man was sitting on a woman and possibly beating her up.

Officers assisted Hill County Sheriff's deputies, Havre Fire Department and Montana Highway Patrol at the scene of a rollover crash on U.S. Highway 2 East reported Saturday at 7:29 a.m.

Someone from Wilson Avenue stopped at the police station Saturday at 9:52 a.m. to report stolen bikes and vandalism.

A caller asked for officer assistance for a theft, forgery or fraud report on Third Street West Saturday at 11:09 a.m.

An abandoned bike was reported in a yard on Cleveland Avenue Saturday at 12:04 p.m.

A caller at a First Street business reported stolen extension cords at 12:35 p.m. Saturday.

Jerome Lane Bigknife of Rocky Boy, 29, was arrested on four Justice or City court warrants served Saturday at 10:02 p.m. on Ninth Avenue.

Elona-Elise Amarie Price of Havre, 20, was issued a summons on a vicious dog charge related to an animal control call made Sunday at 12:23 a.m. on Sixth Street.

Teresino Jiron of Havre, 55, was arrested on charges of driving under the influence and open container in a vehicle during a Fifth Street vehicle stop at 1:56 a.m. Sunday related a report of a hit and run crash.

A 24/7 Sobriety Program violation was reported at the police station Sunday at 8:09 a.m.

A 10th Street caller reported a trailer was shot at and the bullet hit a vehicle Sunday at 11:18 a.m.

--

A dead deer was reported Sunday at 12:19 p.m. on Knob Road.

A female shoplifting Mountain Dew was reported Sunday at 6:30 p.m. at a U.S. Highway 2 Northwest business.

--

A two-vehicle crash at Second Avenue and Second Street was reported Sunday at 7:16 p.m.

Monica Marie Muniz of Havre, 29, was arrested on a trespass to property charge after a female trespasser was reported Sunday at 7:55 p.m. hiding in a hospital bathroom.

Leena Galen Healy of Havre, 27, was arrested on charges of endangering the welfare of children and partner or family member assault after a disturbance was reported on First Street Northeast at 12:05 a.m. today.

Montana Highway Patrol

No details were made available from MHP on the rollover crash with at least one injury on U.S. Highway 2 E reported Saturday at 7:29 a.m.

A male juvenile driving south bound on state Highway 240 on the south edge of Chinook near the intersection with Indiana Street failed to negotiate a curve and rolled the vehicle into the north-bound ditch Sunday at 1:23 a.m., said Trooper Matt Erickson. The driver, the sole occupant of the vehicle, sustained minor injuries, but was not transported to a medical facility. Alcohol was a factor in the crash, Erickson said, and speed is suspected as a contributing factor.

A woman waiting to make a left-hand turn from the south bound lane of U.S. Highway 87 in Box Elder was struck from behind in a hit and run crash Sunday at 9:08 p.m., said Trooper Matt Erickson. The woman sustained injuries and was transported to the hospital, Erickson said, and the male driver was found about a mile south of the crash with his disabled vehicle. Alcohol is a contributing factor in the crash and the driver was transported to Chouteau County detention, Erickson said.

Havre Fire Department

Emergency medical technicians responded to five calls Friday, six calls Saturday, two calls Sunday and two calls early this morning.

Firefighters also responded to the 7:37 a.m. Saturday crash on U.S. Highway 87 and to a gas leak reported on Third Street at 11:07 a.m. Saturday. No one was made available to provide information on the fire calls.

Havre Animal Shelter

The shelter this morning held 10 kittens and one cat all of unknown gender, three male cats, one female kitten, three female cats and one male kitten.

The shelter also held one female and one male mixed-breed dogs, a female 23-week-old German shepherd puppy, a 22-week-old, a 16-week-old, a 15-week-old and an 8-month-old mixed breed puppies, a male terrier-dachsund-cross, a male pit bull-Labrador-cross and a male Siberian husky. Additionally, three 16-week-old puppies and one male dog, all of mixed-breed, were being fostered, and nine 8-week-old mixed-breed puppies were being held separately.
