Havre Police Department

A two-vehicle, non-injury crash was reported on 15th Avenue Wednesday at 1:30 p.m.

Two summonses were issued after a fight was reported at Havre High School Wednesday at 2:40 p.m.

John Melvin Birdtail of Havre, 30, was issued a summons on a criminal contempt charge related to a 24/7 Sobriety Program violation report at 8 p.m. Wednesday.

Officers assisted sheriff's deputies at 12:08 a.m. today on First Street North.

Hill County Sheriff's Office

A 9:58 a.m. Wednesday report of a sex offense was investigated west of Havre.

Three black cows were reported on Beaver Creek Park at 11:57 p.m. Wednesday.

Jasmin Rose Laforge of Havre, 27, was arrested on charges of disorderly conduct and possession of drug paraphernalia after a First Street North caller reported people were trying to break in at 12:02 a.m. today.

A written or verbal warning was issued after a 2:16 a.m. complaint of noise today on the Great Northern Fairgrounds.

Havre Fire Department

Havre Fire Department had no calls in the 24-hour reporting period.

Havre Animal Shelter

The shelter this morning held three cats and eight kittens all of unknown gender, two male cats, four female kittens and three female cats, along with three 7-month-old kittens in the trap-neuter-release program

The shelter also held four mixed-breed puppies, a male boxer-pit bull cross, a male Labrador retriever, one female and one male mixed-breed dogs, a male terrier-dachshund-cross, a male pit bull-Labrador-cross, a male Siberian husky and a male German shepherd. Additionally, three 17-week-old puppies and one male dog, all of mixed-breed, were being fostered, and nine 9-week-old mixed-breed puppies were being held separately.

Births

A girl was born Monday, Oct. 17, 2022, to Kara Obey and Victor Gone of Chinook.
