Havre Police Department

Laree Allyson Kurns of Havre, 44, was issued a summons on charges of driving with a suspended or revoked driver's license, failure to stop and remain at an accident and failure to carry proof of vehicle insurance after she called Thursday at 9:12 a.m. from Montana State University-Northern to report that she hit a vehicle at the college the previous day and left the scene.

An assault was reported on Wilson Avenue Thursday at 9:12 a.m.

Two summonses were issued after a complaint of disorderly conduct was reported at Havre Animal Shelter Thursday at 11:48 a.m. No details on charges were provided.

A two-vehicle crash involving a Yukon and a truck was reported on Fifth Avenue Thursday at 12:04 p.m.

A two-vehicle crash involving a Caravan and a Fusion was reported Thursday at 4:16 p.m. on Lincoln Avenue.

Hill County Sheriff's Office

An 8:30 a.m. Thursday caller on County Road 20 South reported getting hacked.

A theft, forgery or fraud was reported in Gildford at 10:34 a.m. Thursday.

A theft, forgery or fraud was reported Thursday at 8:03 p.m. at a U.S. Highway 2 West business.

Havre Fire Department

Emergency medical technicians responded to five calls Thursday and two calls early this morning. Firefighters responded along with one ambulance call to provide assistance.

Havre Animal Shelter

The shelter this morning held one kitten and one cat both of unknown gender, four male cats, two female kittens, four female cats and two male kittens, along with three 7-month-old and one 21-week-old kittens in the trap-neuter-release program

The shelter also held six mixed-breed puppies, a male Labrador retriever, a female Australian cattle dog-blue heeler, a female mixed-breed dog, a female 6-month-old German shepherd, a male pit bull-Labrador-cross and a male German shepherd. Additionally, a male mixed-breed dog was being fostered, and eight 10-week-old mixed-breed puppies were being held separately.
