Corrections - Fire officials praise response to Eagle Creek Fire

Havre Daily News initially was told the Eagle Creek Fire in the Bear Paw Mountains started on Rocky Boy’s Indian Reservation and reported that in multiple stories subsequent to the fire starting Sept. 7, including in a story about a Hill County Fire Council meeting that ran Friday. The fire actually started in the Edwards Cabin in Chouteau County, not on the reservation.
