Havre Police Department

A two-vehicle crash was reported on Wilson Avenue at 7:59 a.m. Tuesday.

A caller on Third Street reported Tuesday at 8:50 a.m. that a Subaru had been rear-ended and it was up on the sidewalk.

--

A summons was issued after a juvenile with a vape was reported at Havre Middle School Tuesday at 1:41 p.m. No details on charges were provided.

--

A two-vehicle, non-injury crash involving a Ford Focus and a Chevy Impala was reported Tuesday at 3:34 p.m. on First Street near Seventh Avenue.

A caller on Eighth Avenue reported sliding into a fire hydrant at 3:44 p.m.

--

Two callers reported problems with puppies left outside. One call resulted in a verbal or written warning and on the other call the puppy was taken to Havre Animal Shelter.

Hill County Sheriff's Office

Child Abuse Hotline made a report to the sheriff's office at 10:20 a.m. Monday.

Jalen Jaret Watson of Billings, 21, was arrested on two state District Court warrants served at Hill County Detention Center Monday at 2:12 p.m.

Greg Allen Wood of Havre, 60, was issued a summons on a charge of driving with a suspended or revoked driver's license during a vehicle stop on U.S. Highway 2 Northwest Monday at 4:08 p.m.

Montana Highway Patrol

A two-vehicle crash with one person complaining of back pain was reported at 10:40 a.m. Tuesday on U.S. Highway 2 West. Trooper Dan Ohl said a semitractor-trailer headed west bound on Highway 2 attempting a lefthand turn onto 82nd Avenue West turned in front of an eastbound 2014 Ram. As a result of the collision, both vehicles, which came to a stop in the eastbound lane, were severely damaged and hauled from the scene. The driver of the semi was uninjured and cited for the crash, and the driver of the pickup truck, a Kremlin resident, was transported by ambulance to Northern Montana Hospital.

Havre Fire Department

Emergency medical technicians responded to six calls Tuesday, including one call as standby for a fire call on Fourth Street.

Firefighters responded to two calls Tuesday, one as standby for the ambulance crew at a vehicle crash on U.S. Highway 2 East and the other for what turned out to be a false alarm on the 800 Block of Fourth Street at 7:34 p.m.

Havre Animal Shelter

The shelter this morning held one cat and one kitten both of unknown gender, three male cats, two male kittens and two female cats, along with two cats in the trap-neuter-release program.

The shelter also held five mixed-breed puppies, a female Australian cattle dog-blue heeler, a male and a female mixed-breed dogs, a female 6-month-old German shepherd, a male pit bull-Labrador cross and a male German shepherd. Additionally, a male dog and a male 8-month-old puppy, both mixed-breed, were being fostered, and eight 12-week-old mixed-breed puppies were being held separately.
