The Salvation Army in Havre is inviting people to join a local service club in supporting its fundraiser to provide services to people in the region.

A release from The Salvation Army-Havre Service Center said it invites people to support the Lions Club as they ring the bell for its Red Kettle Campaign Saturday, Dec. 3.

“The Lions Club has been supporting The Salvation Army for many years by ringing the bell to help us raise funds to help those in need in the Havre area,” the release said. “The kettles and workers will be out (10:30 a.m. to 6:30 p.m.) at (Gary & Leo’s Fresh Foods), both doors, and North 40.

“Currently, we have raised 12% of our $38,000 goal,” the release adds.

It said that ways to give are at https://havre.salvationarmy.org/havre_service_center or Havre Virtual Red Kettle Campaign 2022 at https://give-nw.salvationarmy.org/campaign/havre-virtual-kettles-2022/c427306 .

“Remember that your donation to the Red Kettle campaign stays in the Havre area helping those in need and helps support RISP (Reintegration Into Society Program),” the release said.
