Monthlong events at Community Alliance Church start with 'Meet the Missionaries'

Several events are planned for the month at Havre’s Community Alliance Church this month, including the church inviting people to meet missionaries from Little Lambs of Lima, Peru.

Pastors Levi and Laura Miller will have a special “Meet the missionaries” meeting at Havre Community Alliance Church at 925 Eighth St. Friday, Dec. 16, at 6:30 p.m.

“Have you ever considered taking a short-term mission’s trip?” church representatives asked in a press release. “Come and learn about the ministry and prayerfully consider ways to make a difference in Peru.”

Previous opportunities to serve have been wide and diverse, from children’s face painting, distribution of food, building homes, clothing distribution, teaching life skills, games, soccer, cleaning, women’s ministry, church ministry, nail painting for women etc. The missions’ trips are suitable for families and all ages.

“This may be a great opportunity to instill life lessons in your young ones,” Community Alliance representatives said.

Saturday, Dec. 17, at 4 p.m. a Variety Show will be held at Community Alliance Church. All are welcome.

The church Christmas Eve Service, a candlelight service, is Saturday, Dec. 24, at 6 p.m.

Christmas Day Service at Community Alliance Church is at 10:45 a.m. Sunday, Dec. 25.
