Havre Police Department

A vehicle crash in a fire hydrant on Saddle Butte Drive was reported Thursday at 7:47 a.m.

An arrest was made on a Justice or City court warrant served Thursday at 10:39 a.m. at the police station. No details on charges was provided.

A caller on Fifth Avenue asked officers Thursday at 11:24 a.m. for assistance.

Clayton Blade White of Havre, 27, and George Gilbert Belcourt of Havre, 53, were each issued a summons on a disorderly conduct charge after a caller at Hill County Courthouse reported a disgruntled male yelling at staff Thursday at 1:57 p.m.

Maverick Buck Smith of Havre, 30, was arrested on two Justice or City court warrants during a vehicle stop on 13th Avenue at 3:49 p.m. Thursday.

A purse was reported Thursday at 4:59 p.m. stolen from a truck parked at a First Street business.

Officers were asked at 5:46 p.m. Thursday to assist another agency at the hospital with a person being charged with driving under the influence.

A Thursday 6:13 p.m. caller on Second Street reported hit and run crash involving a white sedan that drove off with damage to the front end.

Animal Control responded to one call of a loose puppy in the 12th Avenue alley and one about a cat that entered a home on Sixth Avenue.

Sheriff's office dispatch log reported on arrests, summonses or investigations in the 24-hour reporting period.

Havre Fire Department

Emergency medical technicians responded to one call Thursday and one call early this morning, and firefighters responded to a report of a gas leak on the 1200 Block of Bonine Drive Thursday at 4:10 p.m. and a carbon monoxide alarm on the 1100 Block of Seventh Street at 4:06 a.m. today.

Havre Animal Shelter

The shelter this morning held three cats of unknown gender, four male cats, one female kitten and two female cats, as well as five cats being held for the trap-neuter-release program.

The shelter also held six mixed-breed puppies of varying ages, a male and two female mixed-breed dogs, a female 21-week-old border collie puppy, a male Yorkshire terrier and a male German shepherd. Additionally, a male dog and a male 9-month-old puppy, both mixed-breed, were being fostered.
