A child rides on a cart pushed by Havre Police Chief Gabe Matosich in Walmart Saturday during the revival of Shop with a Cop. The event, funded by Havre Police Protective Assocation and individual donations was not held the last two years during the COVID-19 pandemic, but returned this year.

The Havre Police Protective Association held its Shop with a Cop event Saturday for the first time since the COVID-19 pandemic arrived in the U.S., taking local children shopping for Christmas gifts with local officers.
During the event Havre Police officers took young children to shop for Christmas gifts at Walmart after treating them to breakfast at Havre City Hall.
North Central Montana Transit provided the transportation to the event.
