Havre Police Department

A Wednesday 7:49 a.m. caller asked for assistance finding their child who has anxiety and ran from the Sixth Street residence not dressed for the weather, and a second caller at 7:49 a.m. reported finding a child on Sixth Street running and asking for help.

A two-vehicle crash, with airbags deployed but no injuries, was reported on U.S. Highway 2 Northwest at 7:56 a.m. Wednesday.

A 24/7 Sobriety Program no show was reported at 8:13 a.m. Wednesday at the police station.

Jeremy Owen Walker of Box Elder, 36, was arrested on three Justice or City court warrants served after a 9:19 a.m. Wednesday caller on U.S. Highway 2 West reported that a man bailed out of a moving vehicle and was limping westbound.

A two-vehicle crash at Wilson Avenue and 11th Street West was reported at 3:46 p.m. Wednesday.

A caller reported at 10:06 p.m. Wednesday that a water line had broken and was leaking into the residence on Fourth Street.

Jordan G.L. Gardipee of Havre, 34, was arrested on charges of partner or family member assault, disorderly conduct and four counts of endangering the welfare of children after a caller on 10th Street West reported Wednesday at 10:17 p.m. that an intoxicated person was trying to set fire to the residence.

Hill County Sheriff's Office

A Wednesday 7:10 a.m. report of a non-injury crash involving two trucks on Shepherd Road was referred to Montana Highway Patrol.

Havre Fire Department

Emergency medical technicians responded to eight calls Wednesday and one early this morning.

Firefighters responded to three calls Wednesday including two that only required the alarm be reset, and one report of a structure fire at 6:35 p.m. on the 10 Block of Second Street West. No one was made available to provide information on the structure fire.

Havre Animal Shelter

The shelter this morning held three cats all of unknown gender, three female cats, two male 6-month-old kittens and one male cat, as well as three cats in the trap-neuter-release program.

The shelter also held eight mixed-breed puppies of varying ages, a male and two female mixed-breed dogs, a male Yorkshire terrier and a male German shepherd. Additionally, a male mixed-breed dog was being housed off-site, and four 11-week-old puppies and six 8-week-old puppies, all mixed-breed, were being held separately.
