MSU-N's Krass named Frontier POW

Montana State University-Northern sophomore Shyan Krass has been named the Frontier Conference Women's Player of the Week. The former Turner Tornado helped MSU-N go 3-0 at home last week. The Skylights beat Keyano University (Alberta) 74-55, St. Mary's University (Alberta) 84-67 and Lakeland College (Alberta) 64-43.

Krass averaged 21 points, 11.7 rebounds, two blocks, and 1.7 assists per game. She was 27 of 43 from field (62.8 percent), 2 of 4, 3-point and 7 of 7 from free throw line. Against Keyano, she recorded career highs in scoring (22) and rebounding (15).

Also nominated and listed in alphabetical order; Brynley Fitzgerald of Montana Western, Reed Hazard of the University of Providence, Grace Lekvold of Rocky Mountain College, Jamie Pickens of Carroll College and Tavia Rooney of Montana Tech.

Providence' Davien Harris-Williams was named Frontier Men's Player of the Week. Harris-Williams averaged 22 points,5.5 rebounds and 5.5 assists per game. He was 14 of 32 from the field, 10 of 23 (43.5 percent) 3-point and 6 of 8 from free throw line. He scored a career-high 34 points against Dickinson State including nine 3-point field goals.
