January Activity Calendar

Happy New Year.

Daily — Pool in the back room, Mondays through Fridays, 1-3 p.m. The group is expanding and looking for players.

Monday, Jan. 16 — North Central Senior Citizens Center closed for Martin Luther King Jr. Day.

Tuesday, Jan. 17, 11 a.m. to noon — Mark Weber from Blaine County Health Department will be at the North Central Senior Citizens Center to talk with seniors about an upcoming February workshop called Stepping On. It is a 50 minute, once-weekly, seven-week course on safety, balance and strength. It is open and free to all Hill Country senior citizens.

Tuesday, Jan. 17, 10:45-11:45 a.m.— B.J. Geetar Oakie — Brad Taylor will play a country mix on guitar backed by professionally recorded accompaniment.

Tuesday, Jan. 17, 1-3 p.m. — Bingo — Every Tuesday, 1-3 p.m. $1 a card for the afternoon. Pays 100% of amount of money paid in. Open to community members age 18 and older.

Thursday, Jan. 19, 12:45-3 p.m. — Pinochle Thursdays — Welcoming new players. All levels and abilities welcome. If you have any questions please call Heather at the Center 265-5464.

Monday, Jan. 23, 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. — Foot Care Clinic — A Plus Healthcare’s licensed nurse, Jan, will be at the senior center to provide medical pedicure and general nail care. Diabetic foot care assessment is provided. Appointments are made by calling A Plus Healthcare, 406-265-4776. The price is $37.

Tuesday, Jan. 24, 11 a.m. to noon — Mary Stevens will play harp or keyboard music varieties. Open to the community.

Tuesday. Jan. 24, Bingo — Every Tuesday, 1-3 p.m. $1 a card for the afternoon. Pays 100% of amount of money paid in. Open to community members age 18 and older.
