Brandon Tomas Gopher of Box Elder, 40, was arrested on a shoplifting charge after a Wednesday 9:20 a.m. caller at an 11th Street West business reported items stolen by someone who had already headed east on 13th Street West in a light blue car.

An injured deer was reported on 11th Avenue at 2:57 p.m. Wednesday. At 3:27 p.m. an 11th Street caller reported a man walking around with a gun, but this was an animal control officer looking for the injured deer.
