Havre Police Department

Two arrests were made after a caller at a First Street business reported having a combative customer Friday at 11:30 a.m. No details on charges were provided.

A summons was issued after a shoplifter was reported Friday at 2:10 p.m. in custody at a First Street business. No details on charges were provided.

Stephanie Rae Spottedeagle of Box Elder, 48, was issued a summons on a shoplifting charge after a theft was reported Friday at 5:22 p.m. at a U.S. Highway 2 Northwest business. Spottedeagle was arrested during a vehicle stop in the alley near Lincoln and Boulevard avenues at 7:23 p.m., on charges of driving with expire registration, failure to carry or produce proof of vehicle insurance and driving with a suspended or revoked driver's license.

Tessa Shayne Bigknife of Havre, 21, was arrested on five Justice or City court warrants and charges of obstructing a peace officer or other public servant, driving with a suspended or revoked driver's license and driving with expired vehicle registration during a vehicle stop Saturday morning at 2:44.

A Saturday 3:07 a.m. caller reported someone was trying to break into a store on First Street. Officers searched but couldn't locate a perpetrator.

Shayla Dee Peters of Havre, 37, was arrested on a shoplifting charge after a Saturday 10:53 a.m. caller at a First Street business reported a shoplifter in custody.

A Third Avenue caller asked Saturday at 2:58 p.m. to speak with officers about a stolen phone.

Adrian Louis Corcoran of Havre, 31, was arrested on a disorderly conduct charge after dispatch received a 911 call they could not locate at 6:05 p.m. Saturday and then a caller at First Avenue and Fourth Street reported at 6:08 p.m. that a man ran in to the caller's car and started screaming at the caller.

Ryan Anthony Wells of Havre, 35, was arrested on charges of strangulation of a partner of family member, partner or family member assault, obstructing a peace officer or other public servant, aggravated driving under the influence, theft, driving without a driver's license, expired vehicle registration and no vehicle insurance, and on a Justice or City court warrant, after a First Street West caller reported Saturday at 8:06 p.m. that an ex-boyfriend had put the caller in a chokehold. The same caller had asked Friday at 7:25 p.m. for assistance removing a man from the First Street West premises.

A 13-year-old Havre girl was issued a summons on a minor in possession charge after a First Street Northeast caller at 12:18 a.m. Sunday reported a 13-year-old family member smells like alcohol.

Officers provided assistance after a Sunday 1:51 a.m. caller reported two men with a popcorn machine had been standing outside near First Avenue and Fifth Street for a while.

Three arrests were made after a Ninth Avenue caller reported Sunday at 3:57 a.m. that a woman had knocked on the caller's door and said she had been assaulted. No details on charges were provided.

A Sunday 9:31 a.m. caller reported that a vehicle on Sixth Avenue had been egged and four more callers between 3:27 and 3:53 p.m. on Ninth, Tenth and 11th streets also reported vehicles had been egged.

Officers also dealt with nine dog-related calls over the weekend, including two reports of aggressive dog and one call Friday about a dead dog on Lincoln Avenue.

Hill County Sheriff's Office

A Sixth Street North caller asked Friday at 9:28 a.m. for assistance.

Deputies investigated a complaint made by a U.S. Highway 87 business Friday at 2:35 p.m.

A car was reported in the ditch on the north side of U.S. Highway 2 West between mile markers 371 and 372 Saturday at 10:36 a.m. It was a single vehicle crash with multiple people that the Montana Highway Patrol incident reporting website said caused no damage to the vehicle.

Deputies assisted another agency on Bullhook Road Southeast at 3:23 p.m. Sunday.

Tesla Rose Hoops of Harlem, 32, was arrested on an assault charge and two Justice or City court warrants after a 22nd Avenue West caller asked Sunday at 7:06 p.m. for assistance removing a woman from the property.

Havre Fire Department

Emergency medical technicians responded to four calls Friday, two calls Saturday, two calls Sunday and one call early this morning.

Firefighters responded to a good intent call on Fifth Avenue Friday at 2:15 p.m., and with an ambulance to assist at a vehicle crash on U.S. Highway 2 West at 10:41 a.m. Saturday.

Havre Animal Shelter

The shelter this morning held one cats of unknown gender, four male cats and two female cats, along with four cats in the trap-neuter-release program.

The shelter also held a male black Labrador retriever, five mixed-breed puppies of varying ages from 6 to 11 months, one male and one female mixed-breed dogs, a female pit bull terrier and 11 8-week-old mixed-breed puppies. Additionally, a male mixed-breed dog was being housed off-site.
