89th Annual Lutheran Swedish Meatball & Norwegian Lutefisk Dinner, with potatoes, gravy, lefse, coleslaw, cranberries, bun, and sandbakkle and ice cream. noon - 5 p.m., First Lutheran Church, 303 6th Ave. Cost is $25 and ages under 14, $8. Delivery and pickup arranged by calling 406-265-5881, providing contact information and ordering the combination meal or only lutefisk or meatballs.

Sunday, Feb. 5

Snowshoeing trek, with Havre Trails on Eagle Creek, 11 a.m., meet Bear Paw Ski Bowl, 10:15

a.m., meet HRDC building to carpool. People should bring snowshoe gear, wear comfortable shoes, and dress in warm layers for a 2-mile trek, mostly level. Free and open to the public.

Montana Premium Processing Co-op facility tours, 1 - 2 p.m., co-op building, 230 25th Ave. W., with a walk-through of the facility, from corrals to processing and packaging floor. Attendees are asked to bring clean shoes — no mud, manure or excessive dirt — for walking through the facility.

Cottonwood Farmers Union Local 145 meeting, 2 p.m., Montana Premium Processing Co-op, 230 25th Ave. W.

Soup-N-Bread lunch, noon, Eagles Club, with all-you-can-eat of a variety of soups and breads, $5. Proceeds to support Eagles Aerie and Auxiliary, Legion Riders and Jaycees club charities.

Monday, Feb. 6

Auditions with Montana Actors' Theatre, 7 p.m., MSU-Northern's Little Theatre, with roles for several adult actors ages 20-80 in "August, Osage County" and "Almost Austen or Basically Bronte."

Free Youth Workshop, with Montana Actors’ Theatre, Mondays 3:30 - 5 p.m., Saturdays 10 a.m. - 1 p.m., Havre High Theatre. Open to all area youth ages 12-19.

Pool in the backroom, 1 - 3 p.m., Mondays - Fridays, North Central Senior Citizens Center, 2 2nd St. W. The group is expanding and looking for players. Open to all ages and abilities.

Tuesday, Feb. 7

Auditions with Montana Actors' Theatre, 7 p.m., MSU-Northern's Little Theatre, with roles for several adult actors ages 20-80 in "August, Osage County" and "Almost Austen or Basically Bronte."

Burger and Bingo fundraiser, 5:30 - 6:30 p.m., Bingo 6:30, Eagles Club. Meal includes salad, baked beans, chips and fixings with 1/4-pound burger, $9, and double burger, $10. Dinner proceeds and some proceeds from bingo, go toward Eagles Club projects.

Mary Stevens concert, on harp or piano, 11 a.m. - noon, North Central Senior Citizens Center, 2 2nd St. W. This event is free and open to everyone.

Tuesday Bingo, 1 - 3 p.m., North Central Senior Citizens Center, 2 2nd St. W. Cost is $1/card for the afternoon. Pays 100% of amount paid in. Open to community members 18 and older.

Seniors can learn to navigate fall hazards, what affects fall risk, adaptable strength and balance exercises and how to get up after a fall. Free to seniors. Sign up by calling 406-265-5464.

Blaine County Museum 2023 Winter Speaker Series, with Anthony W. Wood presenting “Black Montana and the Stories We Tell About Ourselves,” 6 p.m., Blaine County Library, 112 4th St. W., Chinook. The lecture is free and open to the public.

Valentine’s Day Cake Decorating, a Community Ed class, 6:30 - 8:30 p.m., Henny Penny, 234 4th Ave. Participants will decorate a premade 6” heart-shaped cake to take home, learning how to make buttercream roses and drop flowers and how to fill frosting bags and use various tips. We Love Northern Ball, doors open 5:30 p.m., cocktails 6 p.m., dinner 7 p.m., Armory Gym on MSU-Northern campus. Themed “In the Mood,” the fundraiser will include three-course wine-pairing dinner, live and silent auctions and a swing jazz band and dance demonstrations. All proceeds go to student scholarships.
