The North Star speech and drama team ended the season at the State Class B-C Speech, Debate and Drama meet in Manhattan last weekend and represented the north well. 

Emily Conner competed in dramatic solo acting, Ecko Fraser in original oratory and Joshua Campbell in humorous interpretation of literature.

They did not make it to finals, however, they can confidently say they fought their hardest against the top 20 class B-C competitors in their events.

“Great job at state, North Star,” coach Linda Lett said. “I can’t wait to see you rock next season.”
