"The mission of Montana Chamber Music Society is to advance chamber music by delivering the highest quality performances in the Big Sky Country, and to expand ongoing cultural relevance for all by engaging a diverse public," a release about the concert said.

The unique musical evening is at Montana Style Events located at 10975 River Road in Havre, the release said. The evening will include gourmet appetizers created by the evening's hostess, Betsi Knight and a no-host full-service bar. Doors will open at 6:30 p.m. with music to follow. Tickets are $35. Reservations are encouraged, as space is limited. People can visit the Hi-Line Arts Council website at https://hilineartscouncil.org to purchase tickets or call 406-945-0640.

The trio that will represent the Montana Chamber Music Society includes:

Julie Gosswiller, an award-winning associate teaching professor of music at Montana State University. A highly sought-after clinician, Gosswiller and her students have presented at the Montana Music Teachers Association Fall Conference. Gosswiller is passionate about chamber music and has collaborated with many of her colleagues and renowned musicians. She appeared three times on the Emmy Award-winning Series "11th and Grant with Erik Funk," twice with Elizabeth Croy, and with Angella Ahn. Funk composed the "Accompanist" for Gosswiller and wrote of her playing, "her technical skill is only dwarfed by her expressiveness and deep interpretation of the music."

Angella Ahn, graduate of the Juilliard School, is associate professor of violin and viola at MSU. In her teaching, she leverages her background, having studied with foremost violin pedagogue Dorothy DeLay and her decades-long performance career. With her sisters in the Ahn Trio, she has recorded nine albums, performed in more than 35 countries and every state in the U.S., playing at diverse venues such as Buenos Aires' Teatro Colon, Vienna's Musikverein, New York's Lincoln Center, and the White House. She is active in the community, serving on the Montana Arts Council and the Intermountain Opera Advisory Board, as the Artistic Director of Montana Chamber Music Society and Bravo! Big Sky music festival. She can be seen in videos "Angella Ahn & Friends," on PBS' "11th & Grant with Eric Funk," as well as in "The Hive," a film produced by Tippet Rise Art Center.
