Havre Middle School names students of the month

Havre Middle School's Sixth-Grade Student of the Month for January is Tia Kallenberger.

Tia is the daughter of Justin and Bridget Kallenberger. She has one sister, Cadence Kallenberger.

At the middle school, Tia sings in the school's choir. Outside of school, she is involved in 4-H. She also takes pride in her school work and maintains a high GPA. In her free time, Tia loves to swim, create art, and spend quality with friends and family.

In the classroom, Tia has a positive attitude and is cheerful around others. She is always willing to lend a helping hand and gets along with everyone. Her compassion for others models what "Pony Pride" is at Havre Middle School.

In the future, Tia strives to be successful in life and excel at whatever she chooses to become.

January's Seventh-Grade Student of the Month at HMS is Mallorie Snyder.

Mallorie is the daughter of Mike and Candice Snyder. She has one brother, Collin Snyder.

At school, Mallorie plays the flute for the middle school's band. Outside of school, she enjoys spending her time camping, hiking, fishing, and hunting with her family. She also loves to read and participates in some sports.

In the classroom, Mallorie is driven to do her best and always challenges herself to do more. She is respectful and courteous to all staff and students around her. These attributes make her a great role model for others to follow and an outstanding student at Havre Middle School.

After high school, Mallorie would like to join the Marines and then attend Drake University.

Eli Vaughn is HMS's Eighth-Grade Student of the Month for January.

Eli is the son of Desiree Vaughn. He has one sister, Addi Vaughn.

At Havre Middle School, Eli plays the saxophone in the school's band. Outside of school, He is involved with basketball, 4-H and archery. In his spare time, Eli likes to spend time with his grandpa and friends. He enjoys riding dirt bikes and working on automobiles.

In the classroom, Eli displays a positive attitude and has an eagerness to learn. He works hard and instinctively knows what needs to be done. His dedication to school demonstrates what "Pony Pride" is at the middle school.

Eli's goal for the future is to attend the mechanics program at MSU-Northern.
