Havre's Ferguson a finalist for national coaching honor

Longtime Havre High head tennis coach George Ferguson, who also serves as publisher and sports editor at the Havre Daily News, was recently named one of eight finalists for the NHSACA National Tennis Coach of the Year. Ferguson coached Blue Pony tennis and golf for a combined 20 years.
Longtime Havre High head tennis and golf coach, and Havre Daily News publisher/sports editor George Ferguson has been named one of eight finalists for a prestigious award.
Ferguson recently was named finalist for NHSACA Tennis Coach of the Year 2023. Ferguson was selected as Montana's nominee for the honor, and was named a regional finalist. He has now been chosen as one of eight national finalists for the award.
Ferguson has been a head coach at Havre High for 20 school years, spending 20 years as the head boys and girls tennis coach, as well as the last four years as the boys and girls...
