Out Our Way: Rhythm deficit disorder

Out our way, one of the training issues for horses is helping them smooth out their lope by developing their right and left leads. Riders also need to develop and find the rhythm to keep it smooth. That was always an issue for me. My percussionist youngest son used to kid me about having "rhythm deficit disorder"- which makes my riding - and dancing - difficult if not impossible.
