Snowpack levels increasing

BOZEMAN — February snows in Montana have increased snowpack in the state following a drop from January to February, USDA Natural Resources Conservation Service reports.
After a large late January storm ended several weeks of dry weather, active weather has persisted.
“There were not many days in February in which it wasn’t snowing somewhere in Montana,” said Eric Larson, USDA NRCS water supply specialist.
