Havre Police Department

An out-of-state police officer called Tuesday at 8:05 a.m. to speak with officers about a possible sexual assault from years ago.

A vandalized school bus was reported Tuesday at 10:13 a.m. at the Head Start School on Lincoln Avenue.

Jakoya Jade Oats of Box Elder, 31, was arrested on federal warrants during a vehicle stop on Ninth Street West at noon Tuesday.

A Tuesday 3:20 p.m. caller near Legion Field called to let officers know they were speeding to the hospital with someone in the vehicle who needed medical attention, but did not require an ambulance to meet them en route.

Jasmine Gayle Lodge of Malta, 31, was arrested on a Justice or City court warrant served after a Second Street caller asked at 4:30 p.m. Tuesday for assistance with a disturbance involving a woman in his room.

Everett Dale Windyboy of Havre, 70, was arrested on three Justice or City court warrants after a caller from the 10 Block of 13th Street told officers Tuesday at 6:13 p.m. he was leaving a location there.

A woman with a knife wound was reported at the hospital at 4:34 a.m. today. No one was available by print deadline to provide details on the investigation.

Officers initiated an investigation while providing assistance to someone in the alley between First and Second Avenues at 5:07 a.m. today.

Hill County Sheriff's Office

Tirrell Esequiz Velasquez of Box Elder, 29, was arrested on a state District Court warrant served after a 1:42 p.m. Tuesday transport from Rocky Boy Detention Center to Hill County Detention Center.

Havre Fire Department

Emergency medical technicians responded to seven ambulance calls and firefighters responded to one false alarm, all Tuesday.

Havre Animal Shelter

The shelter this morning held one cat and one kitten, both of unknown gender, four male cats, one female 7-month-old kitten and five female cats. Five cats were also being held for the trap-neuter-release program.

The shelter also held six mixed-breed dogs, a male 14-week-old mixed-breed puppy, a male pit bull terrier and three 13-week-old mixed-breed puppies. Additionally, five 6-week-old Australian shepherd puppies, a male mixed-breed dog and a female Australian shepherd dog were being housed off-site.
