After months of meetings and years of requests the Hill County Commission has finally voted to raise the wages of Hill County Health Department employees to the state average after a very contentious meeting with department employees Monday morning.
Hill County Health Department Public Health Director Kim Berg, who is also Hill County public health officer, said after the meeting the decision was unexpected, but she is thankful that it worked out this way and she can’t wait to tell her department the news.
