Pamela Jane Nimmick, 72, passed away peacefully on Thursday, April 6, 2023, surrounded by family and friends at Northern Montana Hospital.

Pam was born on April 26, 1950, in Missoula, Montana, the first of three children, to James and Mary (Wright) Omlie. When she was 7, the family moved to Havre, where she attended school, graduating from Havre High School in 1968.

Pam remained in Havre, obtaining her associate' degree in nursing from Northern Montana College in 1970, starting her nursing career at Northern Montana Hospital that same year. For the next 45 years, she served in many different roles at NMH, retiring from the Emergency Department in 2015.

Pam met the love of her life, Gary Nimmick, in 1969 in Havre. July 10, 1971, Pam married Gary at St. Mark's Episcopal Church, and the couple made their home in Havre, MT. The couple celebrated their second anniversary welcoming their first child, Tiffany Elizabeth. arrived. Pam's family was not complete yet, in 2019 her first and only great-grandchild, Jersey Elizabeth, was born.

Family has always been the most important thing to Pam, and for hers she was the glue. Holiday's were always celebrated at her house, where all her family would gather. She doted endlessly on her children and grandchildren, celebrating their accomplishments and always advocating for their success.

Besides spending time with family, Pam enjoyed documenting their memories andachievements with scrapbooking. She also collected Barbie memorabilia, traveled, listening to music, camping, and watching the Hallmark channel.
