North Star's Rainee Watson competes in the shot put in last year's Cal Wearley Invitational Track Meet. Watson will be one of several athletes from across the Hi-Line who will gather for the 2023 edition of the Cal Wearley meet this weekend at the Havre Middle School Track.
Normally, the Cal Wearley Invitational Track Meet is one of the season's big openers. But this track and field season has been anything but normal.
Now however, the Cal Wearley, hosted by the North Star Knights, will return to the Havre Middle School Track, albeit a few weeks late.
Still, the meet is one of the biggest small-school regular season track meets in Montana, and certainly the biggest on the Hi-Line.
